FIGHTING TECHNIQUE – CARDIOVASCULAR TRAINING
Fighting technique classes are very popular with students of all ages, boys and girls, men and women. Everyone benefit from those training sessions that provide a boost in self-esteem as well as a good physical workout. Many students discover that fighting is a very technical discipline and that they can progressively learn to fight safely and enjoy themselves!
Fighting technique training sessions usually begin with a vigorous aerobic warm-up of kicking and punching combinations. Then, our instructors propose various interval training sessions (with and without protective shields) that are adapted to the level of experience of the participating students. This type of training is excellent to build reflexes, stamina and endurance. It also allows instructors to guide students and correct their technique.
Fighting classes often end with a session of light sparring. Our instructors respect their students’ progression and never push them to do sparring against their will.
Sparring sessions put students in actual fighting situations: they must apply their techniques against a real opponent. All fights are set up by the instructors and kept under a close watch.
