Benefits from Kanreikai Karate

World Kanreikai Karate offers a complete training program in traditional Japanese Karate to karate amateurs who want to get in shape while acquiring skills and improve their concentration and stamina. Our schools welcome students of all ages and abilities and our certified instructors make sure that everyone benefits from training with us.

At World Kanreikai Karate, we understand that every student has specific strengths and goals. We make it our duty to help each one get fitter and meet, if not exceed, his/her initial objectives.

From young kids to teens to adults, all Kanreikai students get a good workout and face a stimulating challenge as they learn karate technique in a fun and safe environment.

For Kids

Our organization is family oriented and counts numerous boys and girls among its students. Kids are the future of World Kanreikai Karate! We enjoy training with them and we make sure that they like it too!

As they learn basic karate techniques, kids get a great workout that helps build their strength, aerobic capability and sense of balance. Karate can also help improve children’s concentration and discipline.

We encourage and motivate our young students by focusing mostly on their strengths so they can gain self-confidence and feel proud of themselves.

For Teenagers

Teenagers are always welcome at Kanreikai Karate schools. They very often have the potential to develop into high-performing karateka, because of their energy and determination. As they progress, they improve their skills and gain self-confidence. Before you know it, they are helping out with the younger students and serve as role models for them.

Karate can help teenagers improve their concentration and discipline. They develop their sense of respect and responsibility toward themselves and others which will serve them for the rest of their life.

For Adults

Many adults start training because they have kids or teenagers who are interested in karate. They quickly get “hooked” when they realize that karate training allows them to stay in shape while providing a constant and fun challenge to improve.

Many adults are somewhat fearful that karate is too extreme for them. They soon discover that anyone can enjoy a basic karate workout and gain the physical, mental and social benefits of karate training.

Adults who take up karate later in life and who do not have “great goals” realize that with each new technique, each belt promotion test, they go a little farther, challenging themselves and discovering that they can do more than they initially thought. Many of our students, men and women, will testify to this.
